The Pennsylvania Manufacturers’ Association (PMA) has hired Joy Snyder to be the Director of Communications of the statewide trade organization.
“We are deeply pleased that Joy Snyder will be sharing her talents as PMA’s Director of Communications,” said PMA President & CEO David N. Taylor. “Joy’s creative insight, technological proficiency, and dedication to our pro-growth mission will help us better express how manufacturing upholds the quality of life in our commonwealth. There are an infinite number of stories about how manufacturers innovate, add value, and drive prosperity and PMA is very fortunate to have Joy here to tell them.“
Ms. Snyder will use her previous experience as the Director of Marketing and Communications of Questmont Strategic Wealth Advisors to enhance PMA’s social media strategies, craft timely external communications content, and develop relationships with media at the local, state, and national level. Additionally, she will be responsible for the production of PMA Perspective (pmap.tv), a weekly half-hour news program covering Pennsylvania business, government, and politics, airing statewide on the Pennsylvania Cable Network.
“I am honored to join PMA and lend my voice to promoting business competitiveness in our great commonwealth,” said Ms. Snyder. “It is an important cause for which I am excited to advocate.”
With a background as a classically trained ballerina, Ms. Snyder has used her gifts internationally, spending several years in Germany and China, with a focus on service and mission work. As a Pennsylvania native, she was raised in Marysville and now calls Harrisburg home.
