When you join PMA, you join the ranks of those who share a common interest in the economic well-being of the business community in Pennsylvania. PMA is the leading advocate for a pro-growth agenda and the powerful voice of the manufacturing community in the Keystone State. Headquartered only a short walk from the steps of the Pennsylvania Capitol Building, PMA serves as a hub for legislative activities and a gathering place for business leaders from around the state. PMA constituents know that the legislative information they need is only a phone call or e-mail away, and that offices are available for their use when in Harrisburg. The semi-monthly PMA Bulletin provides in-depth and timely information on the policy and economic issues facing Pennsylvania’s businesses. PMA members also receive a valuable resource in the PMA Legislative Directory, a comprehensive listing of all members of the Pennsylvania House and Senate, together with standing committee assignments and contact information for both state and federal office holders. The Pennsylvania Manufacturers' Association is a non-profit organization under Section 501(c)(6) of the Internal Revenue Code. Under the Revenue Reconciliation Act of 1993, the Pennsylvania Manufacturers' Association must notify its members of the proportion of dues attributable to lobbying and/or political activities which are not tax deductible as an ordinary and necessary business expense. The Pennsylvania Manufacturers' Association estimates this amount to be 25 percent of your dues.
